How we start our trip!

We will pick you up from your preferred location and drive you back at the end of your tour.
You can start your tour either in the morning or late in the afternoon in order to enjoy the beautiful sunset.(between 17:30- 18:30 in the summer).

First stop...

The half-day Sounion tour starts with a 44- mile scenic drive along the coastal Poseidon Avenue.
Most of the visitors agree that the drive to Cape Sounion is quite similar to the French Riviera area. Before reaching our Palaio Faliro final destination, we will drive through the most beautiful suburbs of Athens: Old Phaleron, Glyfada, Voula, Vouliagmeni, and Lagonissi.
A few stops are required so you can have the opportunity to take photos of the sandy beaches, the yacht harbors, and the Vouliagmeni Lake whose water possesses therapeutic qualities.

Next stop...

Arriving at our destination, you will visit the Temple of Poseidon built on top of the hill, exactly at the meeting point of the Saronic Sea with the Aegean Sea. The temple was dedicated to God Poseidon, the lord of the Sea and it was there where all the sailors offered a last sacrifice to appease God Poseidon before leaving the safety of the Saronic Golf.
We will conclude by making a stop at a traditional tavern by the sea to enjoy your dinner. Finally, we will drive back by the same route…
